Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Fire Protection South Africa (fireprotectionservices.co.za) handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What We Collect

• Details you enter in the quote request form, such as your name, contact details, town or suburb, property type, the service you need, a description of the work, timing and any photos you add.
• The page you sent the request from, so we know which service you were looking at.
• Messages you send us by phone or WhatsApp.
• Basic technical information, such as your IP address, recorded by the form service to help prevent spam.

Please do not send alarm codes, access codes, passwords or other security credentials.

Why We Use It

• To pass your enquiry to relevant independent fire protection providers so they can contact you and quote.
• To respond to your questions.
• To prevent spam and abuse, and to improve the service.

Who We Share It With

When you submit a quote request, we share your enquiry and contact details with independent fire protection providers relevant to your request. Those businesses are separate and handle your information under their own responsibilities. The quote form is provided by Elfsight, and we also use service providers that host the website and deliver email. We do not sell your information.

Third-Party Services

Some features load content from third parties, including Elfsight (quote form and reviews), Google (fonts and the preferred source button), ProveSource and WhatsApp. These services may set cookies or collect technical data under their own policies.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your Rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its use, by contacting us on 075 99 777 65 or WhatsApp. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
